orange is my favorite color. today was orange day. and it was such a lovely spring day in Boston. and that's my new round orange rug at work. and we have orange walls too...and I'm getting an orange lamp. I love orange.

i came across this gorgeous project on spaceinvading.com and LOVE it. it is the annual lake shikotsu ice festival in japan. makes me wish someone were doing something this creative with all the snow we have piled up here in boston!

happy houses

wearing colors is a great way to bring more color into the world. but, there is also plenty of color out there already to see! i want to train my eyes to pay more attention to the beautiful colors around me all the time. walking down the street in my neighborhood, i can see these three houses all in a row. wouldn't it be great if more people painted their homes like this? i especially love the rainbow brackets.
